Sustainable Wellesley takes aim at beating the heat

The Sustainable Wellesley project has launched its Town Wide 10% campaign in an effort to cut Wellesley’s emissions by 10% from 2007 levels by 2013. The volunteer outfit says this would save $800 per household annually and $7 million annually for the town.

With Thursday’s possible record heat in the greater Boston area, Sustainable Wellesley has picked a good time to step up its efforts, which includes a public discussion at Wellesley Free Library on Thursday, June 9 from 6-8pm (Warning: looks like you’ll need to sit through a sales pitch from a builder for part of it).
