Wellesley restaurant comings and not comings

Wellesley Selectmen later this month will weigh whether to dole out a license to Asian Wellesley LLC for a 100-seat restaurant in Lower Falls at 11 Washington St., formerly Bobby’s Grille. This according to the Wellesley Townsman.

Separately, the board again rejected a bid for Justine’s restaurant (per the Patch) to open at 978 Worcester Rd (Rte. 9 east, near Dunkin’ Donuts), due to concerns about parking/traffic. The license was sought by Maryellen Behrend, whose husband Dean is looking to build an apartment building in the same area, and whose track record of wetlands and construction violations was raised during the meeting.
