Jamie Chisum, the outgoing interim principal at Wellesley Middle School, told students graduating from 8th grade Wednesday that while a friend of his recently made waves with a speech about Wellesley High School students not being special… that the 8th grade grads are indeed “special to me.”
We’ll see if that remains the case, as Chisum heads back to Wellesley High next school year as an assistant principal, where he’ll be reunited with the students.
