Levon & Co., a jewelry store at 83 Central St., in Wellesley Square, is shutting its doors at the end of August.
The business, which has been around for at least 9 years, moved to Wellesley Square from Wellesley Hills in 2008 in hopes of being located in a busier shopping area (though also among a handful of other jewelry stores). Levon & Co., sells jewelry, creates custom jewelry and does repairs, including stone refurbishing.
It looks like Wellesley Square might be facing another wave of closings, with Footstock’s children’s store also closing in August. On a positive note, Boloco and Wellesley Theatre Project are moving into Wellesley Square near the fire station. If you know of other comings and goings in Wellesley business, please let us know.
