Wellesley superintendent: Don’t forget us

An eagle-eyed reader noted on our Facebook page that new Wellesley School superintendent David Lussier’s “Superintendent’s Entry Plan” posted on the Wellesley Public School website has a glaring omission: The Swellesley Report isn’t listed among “Local Media” on his radar.

We certainly forgive the new superintendent for this oversight, and assume he was probably still trying to come up with a very special category just for us. Lussier explains in his introductory letter that the Entry Plan is a living document, and in fact he did email us to say he’ll surely keep us in the loop.

The town picked Lussier to be its new superintendent in May, and since then he has been busy transitioning from Austin, and involved in assorted Wellesley school activities, such as hiring principals. His Entry Plan outlines a strategy for getting to know the school system and individuals and groups in town to help him go forward in the new job.
