The third annual 24 Hours of Barefoot Soccer fundraiser returns this weekend at Hunnewell Fields on Rte. 16 in Wellesley.
The event kicks off at 6pm Friday Aug. 17 and ends 6pm Saturday Aug. 18, all in an effort to raise funds to fight AIDS in Africa. All skill levels and ages are welcome: the cost the participate is $25, which gets you a t-shirt and up to 24 hours of soccer (see registration form on event website). Last year, 300 people took part and helped to raise $12K.
