Wellesley lost & found: Sheltie dog “Gimli” turns up on Rte. 9

Good news for the owners of Gimli, a Sheltie dog that went missing on Aug. 8 during a visit to Wellesley earlier this month from Pennsylvania. Wellesley animal control officer Sue Webb reports that Gimli was found late this afternoon on Rte. 9 on the Natick/Wellesley line.

The 9-year-old dog was spotted recently, according to Wellesley police, on Livingston Road.

The owner is coming up from Pennsylvania to retrieve Gimli.
