UPDATE 2: Rick Weaver, a Wellesley police officer scheduled to retire in December after spending 37 years on the force, is being hailed for his bravery in running into the house to see if anyone was inside.
Update: More photos of the Ashmont Road fire in Wellesley, courtesy of Rich Gastwirt. No one was hurt or even at home at the time of the fire breaking out Monday afternoon. An investigation into what caused the fire is underway.
