Wellesley High parking lot opening Dec. 5

Wellesley High School Principal Andrew Keough has notified the school community that “after three and half long years, our new parking lot is nearing completion and is slated to open on Wednesday, December 5th!”

Student parking permits will be available only to seniors, via a lottery (a consolation prize for Powerball players?) and pricing is tiered in such a way that carpooling will be encouraged:

•3 students using one space         •2 students using one space              •1 student using one space
$201.71  ($67.24/person)            $264.64   ($132.32/person)           $336.18

Students have been warned of a serious of potential $25 violations as well, from not hanging their parking tag to parking in the faculty area.
