Warren Buffett: Now the Wizard of Wellesley

220px-Warren_Buffett_KU_VisitPrudential Town and Country real estate in Wellesley has announced it will begin operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Town and Country — yup, a mouthful — in February.

This will make the agency part of a bigger network of real estate firms under the conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway made famous by top shareholder Warren Buffett, the Wizard of Omaha himself.

The Wellesley Prudential office will be the first Massachusetts agency to join the network, which according to a press release on the news will put more advanced tech tools into the hands of realtors. Hundreds of offices and thousands of realtors will be part of the network. (Some more background here on the history behind this move).
