Overridingly big week ahead for Wellesley public schools

The Wellesley School Committee on Tuesday night at Town Hall (7pm) will report on its review on the FY15 budget and will open things up to the public during a follow-up meeting on Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7pm, also at Town Hall.

Given that this proposed budget — which covers investments in teacher pay, full-day kindergarten and new technology — would require an override, the public might well want to have its say before the committee votes on it Jan. 14.

The Jan. 9 School Committee meeting will also include an update from Superintendent David Lussier on the latest redistricting ideas.
