Wellesley Artists’ Studio Tour set for May 10

On Saturday, May 10, from 10am–5pm, five Wellesley artists will host the first annual Wellesley Studio Tour. The event is free and open to the public. Showing are: Julia Blake, painting (juliablakeart.com); Elizabeth Cohen, porcelain ceramics (elizabethcohenpottery.com); Deborah Friedman, colored pencil original drawings and prints (dlfriedman.com); Carolyn Mackin, painting ([email protected]); Jenny Schneider, art and illustration (jenny-schneider.com); and Chelsea Sebastian, painting (chelseasebastian.com).

A map of the tour route, photos of the art and artists working in their studios, as well as other information is at: http://wellesleystudiotour.wordpress.com

Julia Blake, one of the tour instigators, says a couple of the artists have done individual open studio events and wanted to work together to reach more people.
