Wellesley version of Touchdown Jesus

While at a soccer match on Saturday at the Sprague Field complex in Wellesley we heard more than one reference to Touchdown Jesus because of a big “Jesus” banner hanging from a fence behind a football goalpost and one of the soccer nets.

If you aren’t familiar, Touchdown Jesus refers to the famous mural at a Notre Dame University library that overlooks the football field. As you can see, Jesus is clearly signaling a touchdown.

Happy Easter!
