Wellesley #6 on Boston Magazine’s public high school rankings

Wellesley Middle School lockersBoston Magazine kicks off the new school year with a data dump about the top public and private high schools in Greater Boston, and Wellesley comes in a #6 among public schools, up from #10 last year.

Dover-Sherborn was tops this year.

The article includes a sortable chart to show where schools rank in various areas such as student-teacher ration, spending per pupil and MCAS scores.

US News & World Report ranked Wellesley schools at #4 in its state list earlier this year.
