Wellesley School Superintendent David Lussier has kicked off his third year on the job by getting a little more social: He’s now on Twitter.
Lussier’s handle is @WellesleySupt, and it is there where you can find the school chief sharing tidbits about teaching, the North 40 and more (well, he’s only tweeted 4 times so far). He has not yet broken out any hashtags (#), but like many school administrators, loves his exclamation points!
It will be interesting to see how interactive Lussier is on the social network, where you can find Wellesley residents, including students.
Lussier’s tweets are embedded onto the Wellesley Public Schools website as well.
Excited to welcome new WPS teachers next week. We continue to attract outstanding talent!

The superintendent’s account isn’t unprecedented among Wellesley school administrators. Ex-Wellesley High School Principal Andrew Keough is a Tweeter, too.
No word yet on whether Lussier has opened a Yik Yak account.
