The Boston Globe and Boston Herald are reporting that former Wellesley High School quarterback John Fadule, a walk-on freshman player for the 3-5 Boston College Eagles, could be considered to QB vs. Virginia Tech on Saturday.
According to the Herald:
BC coach Steve Addazio is going to have backup Troy Flutie and freshman walk on John Fadule of Wellesley work out with first offense on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Eagles quarterbacks have had a tough season, with original starter Darius Wade going down with a broken leg in mid-September, then his replacement, Jeff Smith, suffering a concussion. Natick High alum Flutie has already received playing time, but maybe Fadule will get a shot before it’s over…
