For those of you who venture beyond the boundaries of Wellesley onto Rte. 9/Oak Street in Natick, you’ll notice a big change in traffic flow if you haven’t already. The notoriously confusing and clogged jug handle intersection, the site of many an orange barrel in recent weeks, has been reconfigured into a more traditional 4-way intersection with left-hand turn lanes, etc.
The lane painting on the roads still needs some work, but the overall changes should definitely solve any holiday traffic issues on Rte. 9 this season.
