The portraits are aimed at recording “the positive impact that WLP makes in the lives of the guests,” Adams says.
Located in Boston’s Back Bay, the Women’s Lunch Place is a day community that welcomes women experiencing homelessness or poverty. Dana Hall has a connection with the organization in that it sends a group of students to volunteer there 6–8 times a year to prep/serve lunch and host bingo games.
Located in Dana Hall’s Classroom Building, the Art Gallery is open to the public Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is closed weekends and school holidays.
(Adams notes that he’d like to find additional exhibit opportunities for the show. The prints are going to be donated to the foundation for its use at its spring lunch gala, but that is not until late May.)
