Memorial to deceased Wellesley cyclist blossoms at accident spot

A memorial to Alex Motsenigos has taken shape at the Weston Road location in Wellesley where the cyclist was killed after being struck by a car on Friday afternoon. Flowers and a message from fellow cyclists/Pan Mass Challenge participants are among the items at the spot. An online memorial has been set up here.

Wellesley Middle Schoolers out in force to help community

It’s official Service Day for some 400 Wellesley Middle School 8th grade students, and they can be seen around and about Wellesley today helping the elderly, organizing food and clothing drives, feeding kittens at the SPIN shelter for strays, and even cleaning up the dump/recycling & disposal facility, as seen here.
