Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs on April 28 is hosting a wardrobing party at its Wellesley store on 8 Church St. from 6-9pm. Wine & cheese will be served. The business is donating 10% of sales to the Mass General Hospital YouthCare program, a therapeutically-based program that helps children, teens and young adults with Asperger’s syndrome and related challenges to develop social skills. Wellesley High School students Katie Lofblad and Tali Peretti have organized a fundraiser for the Avon Foundation for Women and Breast Cancer as a senior project. Lofblad, who works at Truly Yogurt, says she and Peretti have joined forces with the ice cream/frozen yogurt shop owner so that 50 cents of every Flavor of the Day (Candy Cane) purchase on May 4 from 12-930pm will go to the Avon Foundation.
