Wellesley as New York: Anything goes in the movies

Filming of an indie movie called “Four Single Fathers” took place this week in town, including near the police station. It sounds as though Wellesley will get to pretend it’s New York in the movie, a comedy about Italian single fathers and their American ex-wives. Filming will also take place in West Roxbury and Rome, Italy, .The movie, set for a 2009 debut, stars Alessandro Gassman (nope, neither have we) and the screenplay comes from Liz Tuccillo, known for her work on “Sex in the City” and co-author of “He’s Just Not That Into You.”
