Wellesley in exclusive company when it comes to home prices

Wellesley didn’t crack the top 10 most expensive places to live in the annual Coldwell Banker Home Price Comparision Index, but it is in some pretty exclusive company. Thirteen markets boasted average home prices of $1 million and only 3 of them were outside of California: Boston, Greenwich, Ct., and Wellesley ($1.2 million). Wellesley ranked No. 12 overall.

The Index also looks at the most affordable places to live, but we’ll ignore that for the purposes of the The Swellesley Report.

And now, for a little amusement. If you’d like to see how much your home might be worth in another market, pop your numbers into Coldwell Banker’s Home Price Comparision Index calculator.
