Boston Magazine has issued its ranking of the best public high schools in the Boston area. Wellesley High ranks No. 9 in academic performance (Brookline is tops) and No. 13 in cost efficiency (Concord-Carlisle rules). You’ll need more than a high school diploma to figure out the ranking system, but of course it’s always fun to browse this sort of chart. Bonus: Wellesley High senior Michael Kehoe cracks the magazine’s online slideshow highlighting area high school students.
