A McCain Mobile was on the scene at Wellesley Free Library, site of Precinct G voting, at least by 6:30am today as the polls opened. An Obama sign holder showed up by 7am….So we guess McCain got the early edge there….
Things got a little crazy at Wellesley High, the site of Precinct F voting. One eyewitness tells us that an excitable “hippie-ish” fellow started ranting and raving through the school’s hallways. Many police officers took care of that situation….

One resident reports that there was a bit of a ballot mixup at the Precinct B voting site for at least a handful of voters. They got Precinct C ballots, as detected by seeing that State Sen. Cynthia Stone Creem’s name was on some ballots instead of Scott Brown’s and Sara Orozco’s….
