Metrowest Magazine’s Nov/Dec issue (their web site hasn’t caught up with their print publication, so not available online) features a cover story on Wellesley doctor Dea Angiolillo, who really had her work cut out for her during a three-month stint this year treating patients in the Himalayas: “It’s really hard to see people suffering with things that could easily be fixed, if only the resources were available…” She worked at a hospital usually staffed by just one full-time doctor and that treats 300,000 people. Tough ratio, indeed.
