The Massachusetts Arborists Association has recognized Cricket Vlass with its 2008 VISTA award, the highest honor that the group bestows. Vlass, Wellesley’s landscape planner, was recognized for volunteerism, leadership and vision. (She was actually honored back in November, but a reader kindly pointed us to an MAA winter 2009 newsletter highlighting the award ceremony).
