Senior Center construction could start as soon as fall

The Townsman provides an update on the proposed new senior center, which would be built on the  American Legion site on Washington St. It’ll cost the town $5 million, according to the plan, if Town Meeting approves funding. Meanwhile, a brisk debate about the proposed center is taking place on the Globe’s site, with those opposing the project being most vocal (feel free to chime in on our site as well).
