Developers of the stalled condo project want an extension to get their project done, but town officials would like some good-faith efforts, such as making the dustbowl more presentable until the project really gets going, the Boston Globe reports. Board of Selectman chair Greg Mills called for some landscaping.
If all else fails, maybe the big hole could be converted into a handy cemetery for the funeral home next door.
The new fence does hide the pit, but it would have been nice if they could have filled it in, covered it with grass — so it was actually actively making the area look nice. Any scoop on if/when they are going to start building these condos?
