From the Wellesley Mothers Forum:
Saturday, May 9th, 9am-12pm
Sprague School parking lot, 401 School St, Wellesley
Come see some of your children’s favorite trucks and make a difference in the lives of hungry children throughout the state at the same time! Last year we raised almost $2,500 and collected over 2,000 jars of baby food and cans of formula. We hope you’ll join us again this year! Simply bring $5 per child for admission and any unopened baby food or formula you’d like to donate to the event. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Massachusetts Children’s Fund. This is the perfect way to teach your children the value of giving back to the larger community at an event set up just for them. Last year we had fifteen different kinds of vehicles—ranging from fire trucks to construction trucks to police cars to limousines to ambulances to bookmobiles—this year we’re expecting even more!
Benefits the Massachusetts Children’s Fund, a non-profit organization devoted to the sole purpose of providing baby food and supplies to children in Massachusetts. Over 100,000 families with children—many with infants—sought food assistance last year alone. You can make a difference by taking part in our event and getting the entire family involved! For more information on the Massachusetts Children’s Fund, visit their website at www.machildrensfund.com.
Thanks in advance for your generosity and participation in what we hope will be a fun-filled and memorable time for all! Please spread the word to your friends and family and bring them with you. This event is open to all!
