A charitable group called Kids Clothes Club is joining forces with Wellesley shops to raise money to put kids in coats whose families can’t otherwise afford the clothing. “We’re seeing need in communities that we haven’t worked with in the past, “ says Faith Michaels, a founder of Kids Clothes Club, in a statement. “For the first time ever, we’ve had requests from Wellesley Public Schools and we’re very happy to be able to help.”
A shopping event/party is slated for Nov. 15 in Wellesley Square and Linden Square, and the party will be hosted by Jacque Francona (her hubby manages the Red Sox) and lifestyle guru Gretchen Monahan.
