A 70-year-old woman suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries last night after being struck by a car in the crosswalk in front of the Wellesley police station on Rte. 16. The fortunate thing was that police were quickly able to assist the injured woman. Rte 16 was shut down in that area for a while last night. An investigation continues.
