Broadway Bound Dance Center of Natick  presents The Nutcracker – with a twist. Nuts & Bolts is a jazz, modern and ballet version of the original Nutcracker ballet which incorporates new characters and uses familiar classics as well as current hits to complement the various dance styles.  Fifty nine students of BBDC from seven towns will be performing in this year’s production, including Wellesley’s  Elise Miwa as Clara, Leah Friedman as Drosselmeyer, Nicole DuBois as Drosselmeyer’s Toy Arabian dancer, and Sarah Feiner as the Snow Queen and the Marionette.   Other performers from Wellesley include:  Jules Holland, Allison Lussier, Caroline Magnan, Elizabeth Magnan, Cori Miwa, Kate Mould, Nadine Richardson, Carolina Rocha, Elisa Rocha, Sophie Scott, Amy Sterling, Sarah Sterling, Sophia Taibl, Kailey Wu, and Olivia Yanchik.  BBDC is also teaming up with the students of the Charles River YMCA’s dance program under the direction of Michele Gillen. Nuts & Bolts is conceived and directed by Broadway Bound Dance Center co-owner Nichole Wilcott.

Show times are  Saturday, December 12th at 11am and 3pm at Natick High School.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and are available at Broadway Bound Dance Center, Monday – Thursday 3-8pm or at the door on the day of the performance.  Show runs approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
