Wellesley family suing Harvard over son's death

The Globe is reporting that John B. Edwards II of Wellesley has filed suit alleging gross negligence by Harvard University medical personnel in relation to the death by suicide of his son John in 2007. The younger Edwards had been prescribed several powerful drugs that his family believes may have combined to lead to his suicidal thoughts and actions. Harvard has issued a statement acknowledging the family’s grief, but defending itself.
