The Globe reports on where candidates for the vacant Senate have gotten their contributions from, and Wellesley was shown to be a strong source of funds for many of the candidates, including Democrats Steve Pagliuci ($43K) and Michael Capuano ($53K). Wellesley also was among Republican candidate Scott Brown’s top contributors in the area, though he only scored $14K from Wellesley according to the Globe account, perhaps reflecting the less competitive nature of that race.
