Latest on Wellesley H1N1 flu clinics

January 8, 2010 by Bob Brown Leave a Comment

* The Wellesley Health Department has scheduled a walk-in H1N1 flu clinic on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Schofield Elementary School from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The snow date is Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the same time and location. This clinic is intended for second dose H1N1 vaccine for children age 3 through 9. Additionally, any child age 3 through 18 (grade 12) seeking their first dose of H1N1vaccine is welcome. The clinic is open to children attending public, private and parochial schools. If possible, please bring the vaccine record card issued when the first dose was administered. Please note that ideally at least 28 days should elapse between doses for children under age 10 for full immunity to develop. This means that your child would have received his/her first dose on December 15, 2009 or earlier to be eligible for dose 2 on January 12. Assorted consent forms must be filled out and signed by parents/guardians. Please contact the Wellesley Health Department at 781 235 0135 with any questions.

* A walk-in seasonal (18 and older) and H1N1 (3 and older) flu vaccine clinic is scheduled for Jan. 13 1-3pm at Wellesley Hills Congregational Church. More info.
