February is skunk season in Wellesley

cover_wwmspring10_optWellesleyWeston Magazine has released its spring issue, and included is a profile of Wellesley and Weston’s animal control officers. Wellesley’s Sue Webb, whose animal care efforts have extended to the 9/11 site in NYC and post-Katrina New Orleans, tells the magazine: “February is skunk month — that’s when males are fighting for girlfriends….” The article also notes an increase in people dumping dogs in Wellesley and Weston.
