The Wellesley Chinese Language School, a new non-profit outfit designed to teach Chinese and expose students to Chinese culture, has found a home: Wellesley Congregational (Village) Church.
The school, organized by a group of Wellesley parents, has announced that classes will start on Sept. 12 and that it will be open both to children and adults of Chinese descent and not. Dance, music and art classes will also be offered.
The organizers point to the success of more than a dozen Boston-area Chinese schools that are largely non-profit and weekend-operated.
The school is currently looking for teachings and input on classes.
