The Wellesley High School assembly today, held in the wake of several incidents of offensive graffiti at the school, proved emotional for some students, cathartic for others. Some weighed in at the school newspaper/website, The Bradford, which also outlined 10 ways for students and staff to “take back our school.”
One student said that after the general assembly broke up into smaller groups at least one teacher issued this warning: I hope none of you did this, you’d go to jail for it. The student’s reaction: No one would ever fess up after hearing that.
WHDH-TV Channel 7 was also on the scene to report on the events of the day.
