As if the Townsman, WCAC-TV, the Globe, WellesleyWeston Magazine, Indie Owned and even little old us don’t flatter you with enough coverage of and information on everything Wellesley, there’s yet another hyperlocal website on the way dubbed Wellesley Patch.
There are a number of Patch sites in California, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Locally, there’s one in Needham and others coming to Arlington and Belmont. Patch itself is based out of NYC.
The Patch sites feature news, business directories, events and more. The sites feature some slick graphics, including maps that chart events and police events. You better be on your best behavior though: Patch is coming armed with laptops, cameras and cellphones, ready to track your every move.
