The School Building Committee for Wellesley Middle School has invited neighbors of the school and other residents to two informational meetings at Town Hall next Wednesday to discuss options for boosting capacity to handle increased enrollment at the school. A plan to erect modular classroom space in the current parking lot on Donizetti St. met with major disapproval from neighbors and a proposal for funds was withdraw from the recent Town Meeting docket. The meetings will take place at 9:30am and 7:30pm. The SBC says it is “exploring internal and external construction options in order to address the reality of ever-increasing enrollment while maintaining the integrity of the academic program at the Middle School. Based on current projections, a solution will need to be in place by Fall 2011.”
