Wellesley Middle School Principal Joshua Frank alerted parents that during Wednesday’s early release day “a large number of WMS students crowded into CVS and Roche Brothers, without consideration for adult customers, and some of them began to steal candy and inappropriately sample various products. The staff at CVS had no choice but to call the police.”
Frank has asked parents to ask their kids about what they were up to yesterday after school and said he is working with Wellesley Police to coordinate on ways to prevent such behavior from happening again.
” In June, I would like you to review your child’s plans for the early release day in advance, and ask them not to visit local businesses in large groups. We will do the same here at the middle school….,” he wrote.
