What would make one columnist drive around Wellesley

lgChooseLifeA columnist for The Valley Dispatch, a website serving Dracut, Mass., says if he were to get one of the new “Choose Life” specialty license plates being made available by the Mass RMV (not that he plans to, for fear of the plates inspiring road rage) he would avoid driving through communities such as Brookline, Wellesley and Newton.

Writes self-describer Pro-Lifer Dennis Shaughnessey: “I’d probably stay out of towns like Provincetown, which recently approved the distribution of condoms to students, regardless of their age. I’d stay out of Brookline, a bastion for liberal forelock-tuggers and I’d probably drive all the way around Newton and Wellesley.”
