Best of Wellesley, er, Boston

Boston Magazine looks kindly upon Wellesley in its special 27th annual Best of Boston issue for August, with 11 Wellesley-area businesses among its nearly 200 winners.

Boston says its judges “ate, drank and shopped their way across the metro area” for the past 12 months to come up with their selections.

There’s an entire Wellesley section in the Best of the ‘Burbs portion of the list. The Cottage grabbed honors for Best Neighborhood Restaurant. 5 Bites Cupcakes, Isabel Harvey, The Cheese Shop, Blue Ginger, Ardan, Cafe Mangal, Moxie, Captain Marden’s Seafood, Tutto Italiano and Bonsoir were among others recognized. Dorset Cafe also says it gets mentioned as a must-eat destination.

I don’t have a link to the article for you (and haven’t seen it yet) — Boston holds out from putting it online for a bit to encourage you buy the magazine. Fair enough.
