Meanwhile, the fate of restaurant Tian Fu looks bleak, with its lease running out this summer. Dozens of Tian Fu supporters have signed an online petition urging Whole Foods to work out a plan to let Tian Fu stay (and as one signer writes, avoid repeating history of the current Whole Foods in Wellesley Hills — formerly Bread & Circus — pushing out a Chinese restaurant called Pine Garden in its space years ago).
