John D’Auria, who left Wellesley Middle School in 2007 after nearly two decades as principal to become superintendent of schools in Canton, has moved on to a new challenge as head of nonprofit outfit Teachers 21 (mission: “ensure that every student learns from effective and caring teachers and that competent and persistent leaders guide every school.”)
He’ll be paying a visit to Wellesley Booksmith on Oct. 4 to discuss his new book, 10 Lessons in Leadership and Learning. He” present at 4pm for educators and at 7pm for parents.
