The Boston Globe assembled a slideshow online to highlight the most educated places in Massachusetts based on recent census data. Wellesley makes the cut, with 79% of its population age 25 and older having at least a bachelor’s degree.
Being smart and all as a Wellesley resident, I’ve got to say that their choice of a photo to represent the town is darn weird: The white fence in front of what was the Wellesley Inn on Rte. 16. Rather than say, one of the schools or colleges in town.
