Wellesley real estate update: Century 21 moving into former J.S. Waterman building

The former J.S. Waterman & Sons & Waring funeral home building at 592 Washington St. in Wellesley will soon have a new occupant: Century 21 Commonwealth. The funeral home business moved out over the summer.

The real estate company is moving from 29 Washington St. in Wellesley Lower Falls to the impressive new  space (which has been gussied up with a new paint job not reflected in the picture above) by February.

The move expands Century 21’s space from 4,100 sq. ft. to 5,950 sq. ft., and should give the business more visibility in town, says Steve Bradley of Northeast Select Properties, LLC, which was the exclusive leasing agent for the building.  (Maybe Century 21 can even nudge those developing the old Wellesley Inn space next door to move things along.).
