Wellesley students to star in jazzed up Nutracker

A slew of young performers from Wellesley will be among those in Broadway Bound Dance Center‘s presentation of the Nuts & Bolts Nutcracker at Natick High School on Dec. 11 at 11AM and 3PM.

Nuts & Bolts is a jazz, modern, lyrical and ballet version of the original Nutcracker ballet. Students of BBDC from twelve towns will be performing in this year’s production, including Wellesley’s Elizabeth Magnan as Clara, Nicole DuBois as the Snow Queen, Sarah Feiner as the Sugarplum Fairy, and Leah Freidman as the Indian.  Also participating from Wellesley: Lily Biro, Sophie Biro, Caroline Cowley,  Kate Fletcher, Sandy Gautier, Pierce Gillim, Caitlin Gillooly, Daniel Gillooly, Ashley Glorioso, Jenna Holland, Jules Holland, Joanna Kennedy, Allison Lussier, Caroline Magnan, Gwen Major-Williams, Annie Miklus, Cori Miwa, Caroline Morrow, Madeline Morrow, Kate Mould, Julia Reed, Nadine Richardson, Carolina Rocha, Elisa Rocha, Madeline Schneider, Sophie Scott, Amy Sterling, Sarah Sterling, Sophia Taibl, Grace Taylor, Kailey Wu.  BBDC is also teaming up with the students of the Charles River YMCA’s dance program under the direction of Michele Gillen.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and are available at Broadway Bound Dance Center, Monday – Thursday 3-8pm or at the door on the day of the performance.  Show runs approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
