A crash of the Wellesley public school grading computer system — and its backup — has had teachers and administrators scrambling to re-input grades and attendance data, according to the Wellesley Townsman.
School Superintendent Bella Wong says the badly timed crash and ineffective disaster recovery scheme won’t dissuade the school system from forging ahead into the world of electronic record keeping, though it might make a few public school employees pause in response to Wong’s recent push for faculty and staff to move to the system’s paperless payroll program.
