Wellesley Townsman 10 humbles me momentarily

After finishing as a runner-up to Mark Zuckerberg as Time’s Person of the Year for some sort of website he created called Facebook and to Mario Vargas Llosa as the Nobel prize winner in literature, I’m grateful that the Wellesley Townsman included me in its Townsman 10 list for 2010 alongside a group of people who have done all sorts of swell things for the town’s seniors, students and business community.

I’m also quite relieved to see in the criteria for this list that “those recognized need not be heroes.”
